I do like autumn, I am even tempted to say it is my favourite season of the year. There is something special about cold, rainy days and spending weekends at home wrapped in an electric blanket surrounded by cushions. Autumn is my perfect excuse for comfort food, marshmallows, cups of hot chocolate and changing my light duvet to a devilish hot one! This time I decided to add a little twist to my autumn’s drink – coffee inspired by Pumpkin Spice Baileys.
I admit, as a big fan of Baileys I might be a bit biased! I am a massively in love with their original flavour, but as a big fun of the pumpkin season I could not resist to try their limited edition flavour. As expected, you can taste flavours of cinnamon, hint of vanilla and other baking spices associated with autumn.
So you ask me how to make something deliciously special with this cup of ordinary coffee? Nothing easier, the recipe is not complicated at all! I used this easy recipe from Baileys official website. The results? My boyfriend loved it. Me? Well, it was not as sweet as I expected, and I think I would prefer it over ice instead of having it in a hot drink, but it was pleasant to drink and warmed me up. I think it would also be great to prepare pumpkin spice flavoured cheesecake.
Also, if you want to try other recipes using pumpkin spice Baileys it is worth to have a look here and here.
It is a limited edition so if you want to check that recipe better grab a bottle before they are gone. Guys, I am also curious what is your favourite autumn drink recipe?
